Install the right platform version
Choose the release for your operating system and processor. Source authorization and sync are configured separately after installation.
1.Open the official download page
Choose iPhone / iPad, Apple TV, macOS, Android / TV, Windows, or Linux. Follow the available App Store, TestFlight, or installer link for your platform.
2.Check system and architecture
Read the download notes and choose the matching processor architecture. Android phone, tablet, and TV share the Android package; interfaces still differ.
3.Connect your first source
Open Add File Source and authorize a cloud drive, share, or media server. Local-folder setup is available only on supported non-TV clients.
4.Configure sync if needed
Use a sync method supported by your clients. BoxPlayer sign-in alone does not replace source authorization or configure every type of sync.
